We rarely cancel events, but this spring’s rains and widespread flooding challenged us — along with many, many others around the state — and we have had to cancel two. Many of our usual sites, generously offered by private owners, were either under water or too saturated to handle human and canine traffic. The LCRC directors and event chairs sure regret the cancellations, but aimed to protect these grounds, and everyone’s safety as well. |
